0.0% THC-Free - Hemp-derived CBD will not get you High at all

WHAT DOES CBD STAND FOR?

Cannabidiol, also known as CBD is an essential compound found in and extracted from the flower and leaves of hemp. It is the second most potent ingredient of cannabis (marijuana). There are over 80 chemicals known as cannabinoids, all found in the cannabis plant.

Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is obtained from hemp and is non-psychoactive, which means you get all of the relaxation and health benefits without the marijuana-like "high."

CBD HISTORY

The use of CBD was first recorded in 2727 BC when Emperor Sheng Neng from China used a cannabis-based tea to help with health conditions. By way of trade, cannabis was introduced to America in the 1600s.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP OIL & CBD OIL?

The hemp seed oil contains vitamins, minerals, and basic health benefits but lacks the medicinal potential of CBD since most "hemp oils" contain no CBD.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a chemical compound extracted from a cannabis plant. CBD is well known for its health benefits, showing positive results for:

  • decompressing

  • a restful night's sleep

  • relief with normal daily exercise activities

  • and more

CBD oil is created through a different process than hemp. It is extracted from the whole hemp plant to create a more beneficial final product that contains beneficial plant compounds like cannabinoids and terpenes.

To be considered a CBD oil, the product must contain less than 0.3% of THC.

HOW DOES THE BODY ABSORB CBD?

There are studies on how CBD (Cannabidiol) interacts with receptors throughout the body to balance and heal. For it to influence our bodies, the non-psychoactive compound needs to be absorbed. Some popular options for taking CBD include:

  • Tinctures - for quick results, place a few drops on the tongue or into any beverage

  • Edibles - tasty treats that can be taken with or without a meal

  • Salves - can be easily applied directly to the skin and absorbed through the skin's surface for pinpointed relief

  • Softgels - easy to swallow for discreet use on the go

WHICH CBD PRODUCT IS BEST FOR ME?

It can take some time to find out what product works best for your needs. Every body is different and every product will give you a different experience.

You may decide that one method is ideal for sore muscles while another helps you get a more restful sleep. Remember that a bit of experimentation can be fun and what matters is that you find the right CBD product for you!
